不停車的原因，甚麼公路劫匪、車速太快、茶色車窗、人生路不熟、缺乏急救知識、趕時間前往樂蜀之類也有可能，但即使以一般速度前進，當經過事發地點之時，遊客之間因缺乏足夠的討論，加上心理學上所謂的責任分散效應，要第一時間有遊客挺身而出要求停車是罕見情況，而這個第一時間，便是大家所說的一兩秒時間。但這也不是唯一因素，最大的問題是車子根本在一直向前飛馳，隨著時間不斷推進，遊客希望停車的想法亦會幾何級數地下降，因為那是旅程的「寶貴時間」，不是日常生活的時間，此一秒不同彼一秒。扣帽子說人冷血很容易，要站在不同立場分析就難得多。

實在是太多了，用也沒時間用。太多的 Digital Gadgets，太多的 Personal Devices，太多的玩意，太多的誘惑。套用 Thomas L. Friedman 的說法，這些都是輕科技類固醇（Amplifying technologies, or “steroids” ），掌握在個人手中用作抹平世界的利器。看著新到手的 Dopod 818 Pro，我在讚嘆它在這個時代展現的驚人功能，也在想像它會多快被這個時代淘汰。
竟然在 Google Video 找到了 Alanis Morisette 的陳年舊曲 You Oughta Know，但 MV 的畫面配上了大量互咀的電影畫面，聽還是很耐聽，但感覺甚為奇特，不過電影畫面意境與歌詞內容則十分協調。連結在此。

網絡世界是第幾層呢？
假設只計地球。最外圍的一層是原始的大自然，人類在裡面建構了一個又一個世界，大部分人平時居住的是第二層的文明世界，思考邏輯被第三層的理性科學世界支配，生活起居則躲在第四層的網絡世界。
如能走到其他的地方看看，例如是返回第一層最殘酷最真實的大自然（到亞馬遜森林走一走），第二層的人工化大自然（到城門水塘走一走），第三層的宗教世界（到教會走一走），以及網絡以外的世界（關上電腦到街外走一走），應該會為遵守規律的人們帶來不少衝擊。
